Interesting. I never knew about this, but I remember the outrage once we found out about the existence of NAMBLA back in the 90s. Would this have something to do with why the LGBTQ community adopted the rainbow colors as their symbol? Because prior to them doing that, rainbow colors were associated with institutions for children. For instance, daycare centers and children hospitals had rainbows on the walls or on the outside of their buildings to indicate it was a place for children. That’s why I became appalled when I noticed that the LGBTQ community had pretty much hijacked the symbol normally used for children as their own. There were so many other symbols they could have made up and used, but instead chose the only one the country had long associated with children. Bad taste. So now I’m wondering if NAMBLA had anything to do with the rainbow hijacking in the shadows somewhere as a subliminal wink to pedophilia.
