For the first time in my life, I’m trying a scone. Never heard of them. It’s a British pastry and tastes pretty good. I was actually looking for muffins but they didn’t have any so got these instead. Had to heat it up bc it was kind of hard. I got blueberry.

The correct way to eat a scone is to use two forks (not a knife, we will know) to slice the scone in two. You may optionally grill the inside, but it should not get any additional colour from the grill, it’s just to warm it up. You may then butter it with room temperature butter, and optional not optional top it with clotted cream and jam (the order of these two ingredients is hotly debated). Enjoy one of the England’s finest afternoon fancies alongside a nice, hot cup of tea. 🇬🇧
