Literally the only time I've ever bought this #cereal
Photographing it through the box got easier as it eerily got darker outside in the middle of the day. It didn't get very dark because we only got 70% of the eclipse, but it still felt like I was in the shade no matter where I stood and the fading light reflected off our glorious air pollution that created a semi-orange/amber haze that lasted from about 2:30pm until a little after 3pm. Then everything got bright again. The best way I can describe it is think of turning the gamma on an image down or in movies where an atomic bomb goes off and everything has that awkward orangey but shadey hue. It was as if everything that should've been reflecting light like glass and cars were muted. It was awesome. —————–
