A thousand Charlies could die and nothing will change despite us being the only country that has a gun problem. Not surprised since guns built this country, it will also be one of its undoings. We have cave men for politicians who treat domestic policies just like their foreign policies by using force to “Oonga boonga me smash everything,” and now it’s coming home to roost. I don’t even see them providing any alternative solutions. They say they can’t do anything because its a mental health issue, but they also won’t do anything to address mental health issues. This is why I could never vote Republican. When the people address them with real issues, they don’t do anything. Mental health + gun problem is just going to lead to more chaos and they’re going to continue to do nothing because they think they’re exceptional.
