Today was an absolutely beautiful New Years Day. It was bright and sunny and everyone was wishing strangers happy new year. I was actually proud to be a transplant New Yorker today.
Two complete strangers wished me a blessed and happy new year and sounded like they honestly meant it. Especially since they went out of their way to tell me.
I fuckin love New York. Wouldn’t want to be any place else. 🦉
