What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
If you want to get on my bad side as fast as possible, ask me why I’m so quiet. Social gatherings are like kryptonite to me not only because people have the audacity to approach me with that question, but I just don’t like talking to people. Most conversations are vapid, and I hate having to pretend I’m vested in it, because I hate being disingenuous to other people, including myself. I have no interest in speaking to strangers, just for the sake of speaking to strangers, so I prefer to just not engage.
I’m quiet because I have nothing to say, and that’s exactly what I tell people every time I’m asked. I’m enjoying my quiet because I can’t wait to leave.
