Men, stop saying Black women are “masculine”. We’re not. We just always have to be on the defensive since many of our fathers abandoned us, so we’re force to fend for ourselves. It’s very difficult to be on the defensive AND remain feminine at the same time.

Right! I often think men who feel like that have their own inner issues they need to reflect on. A man suddenly feeling triggered to compete with a woman just because she commands a room is primitive, low-vibration behavior.

I wonder if Hollywood has not so screwed up our views of masculine and feminine that we see them exclusively in terms of power dynamics and not inner traits.
