I posted my hurricane pics on CNN iReport and they posted them; they also gave me a phone interview which they quoted me in the article. Isn’t that awesome. I’m no Tom Brokaw of course, but I just thought it was cool. Thanks CNN for perking up my boring Monday 😀

The eye of hurricane Irene appears to be just off the coast of Hampton Roads. Just hang in there guys.

Sounds like the wake of 50 Mack trucks going by outside. Our power is still on but went out briefly a few minutes ago and came back on. I’ve been tuning all the wind out by blasting my ear drums with Techno music.

just read an article that sais if ur power went out, it could be 2 weeks before its restored.
