A 20ish/yo guy asked me not for money, or my number, but for mac-n-cheese. Had holes in his clothes, looked sick or beaten. Not sure how NY Mayor Adams or Gov Hochule can sleep at night knowing there’s people starving under their watch. And yes, I got him the mac-n-cheese.

My cats are so happy when they see me sleeping on the couch. They intentionally try to do the most, by standing on my chest and parkouring off my face, to keep me up. 😒

Today I learned I could never be a parent. The boyfriend is sick and I locked him in the bedroom with Pepto Bismol and water. If I had kids, I’d do the same. I refuse to go near sick people.
