99% of the tech industry’s revolutionary inventions went to big business, surveillance industries, government or back to big tech. It could’ve been designed to help humanity more but its inventors got either corrupted by greed or accosted by bad guys. And the bad guys made absolutely sure no revolutionary inventions made it to the people. They just left us with vapid toys.
