Angry, disappointed users react to Bluesky's upcoming blue check mark verification system
This is highly unnecessary. The current domain name system is fine. If the argument is to make official profiles more visible, then just do what Mastodon does, highlight the domain on the profile. You’re either federated or you’re not. No need to proprietize the platform.
