It probably did. It flew over some tall trees with it so I lost view from there. I was a little disappointed because it happened so fast that I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough to record it. Initially, the hawk had tried to snatch the swallow in mid-flight and missed. Then about a minute later is when it came back and snatched a different swallow right out the tree. It was pretty wild. Poor guy. Pretty sure he didn’t make it.
