Historically, that’s not true. The Democratic Party used to be the more conservative of the two major parties. Over the past 50-60 years that has changed.

Nowadays, compared to the rest of the world, both parties are rather conservative- with the Republican Party barreling into far-right fascism, and the Democratic Party positioned on the political spectrum about where the Republican Party was 20-30 years ago.

IMO, it’s not a party issue, it’s a money issue. Billionaires and PACs own both parties and control them. Overturn citizens united, ban PACs, and destroy special interest groups like AIPAC and the Heritage Foundation. Then the parties will sort themselves out.

I knew one of yall would pop out. All those people are dead. I’m talking about historicaly as in since the Civil Rights movement and abit before that. People who are still alive today. Dozens if not hundreds of bills have been passed since then, so historically, those bills for the peope were passed by the Democratic Party.

And it ain’t got nothing to do with money. This government either finds money or prints money like Monopoly on the agendas it wants to push.

Pardon my for thing historically meant history….

I’m not arguing that the Republican Party isn’t a waste, but the reason it’s a waste is because special interests are allowed to buy politicians. These people can’t print their own money, they rely on 3rd parties to enrich themselves.

But to put it in smaller terms, the Republican voters will generally vote for “what’s best for me,” while Democrats will vote for “what’s best for everyone.”
