What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you?
There are people who genuinely are set out to reroute you from your path. Drama queens will get you in trouble for situations that you had absolutely nothing to do with. Narcissists will drain your emotional battery to the point of depression and run off with your energy. Fake people in general who may not have any intentional bad will, but make you offers that can be detrimental to you. No matter what it is, if it’s a person or a situation you don’t want to be in, don’t get tied up with worrying about the other person’s feelings that you put yourself in a bad spot.
Learn the power of “No”. If someone is asking you to do something you don’t want to, unapologetically tell them “No” and stick by your guns no matter how hard they push back.
