Imo, the Republican Party needs to be dismantled because its run its course. Its path to fascism was always in the cards to happen. Historically, the Democratic Party does things FOR people while the Republican Party does things TO people.

Historically, that’s not true. The Democratic Party used to be the more conservative of the two major parties. Over the past 50-60 years that has changed.
Nowadays, compared to the rest of the world, both parties are rather conservative- with the Republican Party barreling into far-right fascism, and the Democratic Party positioned on the political spectrum about where the Republican Party was 20-30 years ago.
IMO, it’s not a party issue, it’s a money issue. Billionaires and PACs own both parties and control them. Overturn citizens united, ban PACs, and destroy special interest groups like AIPAC and the Heritage Foundation. Then the parties will sort themselves out.
